Once a gift card has been used, the original sale of the gift card cannot be voided or returned. Refunding transactions purchased with the gift card (to restore the Gift Card balance) will not allow a refund back to the Lifepay Account.
If you have been denied a refund, your screen may look like this:
Reasons your refund could have been denied:
- It has been longer than 72 hours since your purchased the gift card
- You have already redeemed the gift card code
If the above has occurred, the refund status will automatically display as 'Declined'
